Attend as many NDIS/disability sector workshops, events, expos, forums and other Interagency meetings as you can. Building good relationships with other providers can open up areas for growth (such as collaborations). Also, you can attract more clients if someone in your network is referring you. This could be a short story to tell about who you help and how. What difference the business is making (or is aiming to make). People love stories! Have a great one ready to go, as you may find it gets re-told and mentions what a difference you’ve made in someone’s life.

There’s a saying that if you can’t be found online, then you don’t exist in the eyes of the consumer. More people are using the internet for a Google search on a range of devices (such as smart phones, tablets and computers) – therefore enabling people to find you and your service is vital. The method you use should be the preferred way your client (or referrer) would search. Keep updating the content and images, so Google ranks you higher in searches. Examples may include Google My Business, Social Media, your Website and Disability Services Directories. Have great content and images that reflect your target audience and provide regular updates showing that you are expert, active and helpful.
