Providers offering Specialised Supported Employment services reported growing instability, with 59% citing an uncertain operating environment. This calls for focused strategies to support and stabilise these essential services.Strategic planning under pressure
Over half of providers (54%) reported difficulties among their leadership and boards in developing effective strategies and plans. This reflects the challenges of operating in an increasingly complex and uncertain landscape.Mixed reaction to Disability Employment Reform
On a more positive note, 39% of providers believe the Disability Employment Service reforms are heading in the right direction. However, further evaluation is needed to ensure these reforms achieve meaningful outcomes for people with disability.
