Additionally, a number of other standards have had their quality indicators updated to take into account the new emergency and disaster management standard and a new high intensity skills descriptor has been developed to accompany the new NDIS Practice Standard for severe dysphagia management.
Future NDIS Providers
Any new applicants or renewing NDIS providers who submit registration to the NDIS Commission after 15 November 2021 will be subject to the new NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
Standards Compliance
The way an NDIS provider demonstrates that they meet each Standard will be proportionate to the organisationās size, scale and delivery of support services. It is recommended to review the updated versions of the Standards as soon as practicable, and review any instances that may need addressing prior to your next audit.
